Dr. David Sinclair, an “expert in longevity” of Harvard University, is a co-founder of Sirtris Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: SIRT) and Genocea Biosciences. Moreover, he is an associate professor of pathology of Harvard University and Director of Glenn Laboratories for the Biological Mechanisms of Aging. He has greatly contributed to our understanding of aging, so he is a most cited and respected scientist in biology.

In 1997, Dr. Sinclair discovered the reason for aging in yeast which is the earliest form of all species. In 2003, he reported his discovery of the conserved gene that acts as the primary regulator and controls the process. He is committed to alleviating the age-related diseases of mammals through genes and pharmacological approaches. In 2004, Dr. Sinclair co-founded Sirtris Pharmaceuticals and built it up into a most successful biotech company.

He is the author of over 50 scientific publications reviewed by his peers, including some significant papers published on Nature, Cell, and Science. His merits are reported by mainstream media, such as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, the Times, and News Week. He won numerous awards and honors for his studies. After completing the postdoctoral program together with Dr. Leonard Guarente at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he obtained the doctorates of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from the University of New South Wales. Genzyme granted him the 2004 Outstanding Achievement Award in Biomedical Sciences.

Harvard Medical Doctor and famous doctor Robert Huizenga jointed the United States’ top non-profit hospital, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and published a case Report: Oral β-nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) and accelerators can naturally trigger the anti-inflammatory immune system, thereby preventing and reversing the cytokine storm. It described the strong temporal relationship between the use of NMN cocktail and clinical improvement in a COVID-19 positive case. Significantly, this case showed an abnormally rapid and thorough clinical turnaround.
Because cytokine storms are the leading cause of death in COVID-19 virus infection, Dr. Robert Huyzanga appealed to the scientific community in this article: oral NMN and COVID-19 related cytokine storms are worthy of further study.

A study published in the Journal of Affective Disease suggested that NMN can improve depression.

  • December 2019

A study unveiled a new function of NMN — dispelling the effects of alcohol and protecting the lungs, which is of great significance for the treatment of alcoholic fatty liver.

  • August 2019

Scientists from the Department of Geriatrics, Health Sciences Center, the University of Oklahoma identified that NMN has an epigenetic effect, resist atherosis, and reverse the effects of aging.

A study published on Aging Cell assumed that increase in the transformation of NMN into NAD can boost pregnancy.

  • June 2019

Prof. Imai of the University of Washington (UW) and his research team published their results on Cell Metabolism. They proved that the circulating level of eNAMPT, a key enzyme in the synthesis of NAD can improve the health of rats and delay aging.

  • June 2019

It is proven that NMN supplements have a cerebrovascular protection effect on old rats and can improve the NVC reaction in old cortex and senile dementia.

  • April 2019

Peng Liang and Xie Chan of the Third Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, probed into the role of NMN in treating age-related diseases. Their research results were published on Cell Death & Disease, which deemed that NMN can “promote bone growth and lower flesh growth“.

Olaia Naveiras of EPFL in Lausanne, Swiss, and Nicola Vannini of Ludwig Cancer Research in Lausanne, Swiss, led a team to reveal that NAD supplements can raise the activity of hematopoietic stem cells.

  • February 2019

Japan published a clinical trial interim report, entitled Benefits of Long-term (24 Weeks) Oral Administration of NMN, to prove that the expression of Sirtuins and several types of hormones will be enhanced after oral administration of NMN. Therefore, we can deduce that all age-related diseases can be alleviated or completed cured.

  • February 2019

Scientists found that NAD supplements can reverse the aging of muscles.
